Supporting students at risk of disengaging from education

The Te Ako Manaaki Framework is being used to support students who are starting to disengage from learning in a mainstream environment, and or are entering in ‘Alternative Education’, or need additional supports to help them re-engage in mainstream schooling.

Avoiding Exclusion

The Framework is being used to support students (and their schools) to avoid exclusion from learning.

As an Attendance Service

The Te Ako Manaaki Framework is being used by the Attendance Service, in partnership with schools. It supports not only the process and outcomes for individual learners, but supports larger projects and initiatives that can help improve attendance overall in a community.

Tertiary and Employment

The Te Ako Manaaki Framework has been used to support at risk and vulnerable learners to access and engage in tertiary learning and employment.
